Sara Bernardini
Bio
I am a Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Computer Science at Royal Holloway University of London. I am also the Principal Research Scientist in AI and Data Science at the National Oceanography Center and a fellow of the Alan Turing Institute.
Education
I received a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Trento (Italy) as well as an MSc and BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" (Italy).
Employment
Before joining Royal Holloway, I was a research associate in the Planning Group of the Department of Informatics at King’s College London and, previously, a research fellow at UCL Knowledge Lab. In 2005 – 2007, I was a research scientist at NASA Ames Research Center, where I worked on autonomous planning agents for space mission operations.
